GRiT has recently recieved a massive overhaul in an attempt to release an Alpha version soon. AI has been tweaked to add pathfinding and Toon-Shading has been introduced. Currently the In-Dev build of GRiT has become some what of a survival map with a mock-up of a city scheme. Spawning math has been introduced to create an unlimited amount of waves where the number of zombies increases every two rounds.

 

Much still needs to be done before a Pre-Alpha release which currently has no set date.
